The Titanis axe is Inspired by big bit racing axes used around the world in major competition. Handmade for BCX in New Zealand these beasts are designed to maximize down force and do much of the work for you. With a balanced and consistent swing you will be rewarded with smooth deep cuts and a sound that will be music in the forest. Designed for felling and bucking logs with big powerful swings – the bit of this axe is wider and more flared than more conventional pieces. The 7″ bit increases the cut size during impact, and the edge…well, that is as sharp as you are ever going to need an axe bit to be.

Each head is hand forged from a block of the highest quality High Carbon Tooling steel and each axe is individually hardened and tempered. The handle is made from the highest quality hand turned American Hickory. Each handle is fitted to the head then secured using a roll pin for safety.
